t-ball game

Jack had T-ball tournament yesterday. somehow his coach got them in the t-ball tourny and it was there first game. They played 4 games. I think it was more of a scrimmage type thing, they will play there regular season here. The tournament games were an hour away. Which wasn't too bad, I invited Veronica and her girls to the game because they live an hour from where the games were being played, so it was halfway mark. We had fun, the kids had fun. Jack did really good. He hits hard and he runs hard and he plays hard. He started out in right field the first couple games then he moved to short-stop., He doesnt' like right field he would much rather play short stop. he does better at short stop. I'm gonna have to work with him on his catching and covering the bases and being the relay cutoff. I think he's gonna do good. He can get the grounders really good and he can throw pretty good but he overthrows alot. What can you expect though. it's his first yr and he's only 6.

There is one guy there who has twins on the team and he is a real ass. He take this whole t-ball too serious. I mean there kids for crying out loud. who cares if they win or lose? They're only 6. I have always heard of those parents who scream and yell at their kids if they mess up and act like idiots. This guy was keeping score for our team and he was sitting in front of me and he just acted like an ass. Muttering about how his kid is not an outfielder and how he's never played outfield. yelling at his kids out on the field because they didn't catch the ball. Or some shit like that. THEY ARE KIDS !! Goodness let them have fun. I was really waiting for him to say something about Jack and his errors and if that would have happened. I would have certainly said something to him. I was having a really hard time keeping my mouth shut. I was biting my tongue really hard not to tell that guy to shut the hell up and let the kids have fun. That is why he is not allowed to coach. Jack's coach Shawn said that he was not expecting us to win at all,. the important thing is for them to learn to be better ballplayers and better people. Not to win or lose but to learn sportsmanship and sportsman like conduct. And he was proud of the kids as well as the parents (the parents for not acting like idiots. with the exception of our scorekeeper) He told us from the very beginning if any of the parents act like idiots they will not be allowed at the practices or games cause he is not gonna put up with parents acting like idiots. It's for the kids to have fun not for the parents to scream and yell at them. He really has a great coach. I really like him.

All about Jack Christopher

Jack Christopher is my first born. Born on Memorial Day 2002. May 27th.
I was 29 and it was 2 months to the day before my 30th birthday.
Jack was a scheduled induction. 3 weeks early. He had developed IUGR (intra-uterine growth retardation) which means that he had pretty much stopped growing in-utero. Which my OB specualted was caused by my hypertension. His brain and his belly were the same size and his lungs were fully develpoed so the OB felt really confident that he would not have any probs or complications. He would just be tiny. After 10 hrs of labor he was born a natural birth. And tiny he was. At 5 lbs and 8 oz. 19 inches long. He was a little feller. But he was born wide eyed and bushy tailed, ready to take on the world. As alert as any baby I had ever seen. He was truly beautiful.
Jack is now a healthy 6 yr old little boy. Playing T-ball and riding his motorcylce. Although he is little for his age. I suppose he will always be a bit smaller than his friends. He has a big heart and a big smile. And a lot of friends.
He is by no doubt my favorite little boy !!
He is a true mama's boy !!

All about Kaylyn Michele

Kaylyn Michele is my beautiful baby girl.
She was born June 30th 2004 at 3:41 PM. Weighing in at 7 lbs 6oz. She was absolutly gorgeous. Blonde hair, blue eyed baby girl. Her name is Kaylyn, but for short we call her Kayly.
Jack loved his baby sister from the day she was born. There is a 2 yr differnce between them and now they are each others best friend.
Kayly is a girly girl with a tomboy flair. She would wear a dress to play in the mud. She has a goofy sense of humor. I guess she gets that honestly.
She loves her Rabby (her well loved pink bunny Rabbit that she lovingly named Rabby) and she loves her big brothers trucks.
She is my precious girl. She is her Daddy's girl, and her Mommy's love.
She is by far my favorite little girl !!
